I think cell phones have become the norm. Everyone uses a cell phone. Or do you know anyone who doesn\’t have a cell phone at all? Except for small children, of course. However, there are still toddlers who have cell phones. That is, if their parents don\’t mind. I know that, but I know several people who don\’t even let their 15 year olds have cell phones. One such family lives next door to us. They have two children. If you saw the way they raise their children, you would think it was like a prison or a church, wouldn\’t you? Every time we invite the kids to a family party or a baby shower, unfortunately, they don\’t get to go anywhere.”
Families are afraid their children will eat junk food. Or that they will sit in front of the TV or play computer games. Or they fear that their children will show them their cell phones. What is wrong with showing them the cell phone? Then I asked their mother and she said stay really far away from technology and electronics. As much as possible? I understand that sometimes this is really evil. Especially when our children are addicted. Yes, I know children who are addicted to cell phones and computers. This is very sad. It is best to set boundaries for our children.
Like up to 3 hours a day, I don\’t think 3 hours a day will kill anyone. But when parents say they don\’t tolerate technology or cell phones, I have to take that into account. You can\’t force a child to have a cell phone, but I personally can\’t imagine a 10 year old not having one. I have twins and we do everything together. And they just got a cell phone (smart phone) for their 8th birthday Christmas. That\’s what they wanted.
